After a decade of working on radio programmes on health, environment and education in Madagascar and Afghanistan Leo Metcalf set out to make two concurrent documentaries.

The first, Larryland critically examines end of life in western world by following an ageing hedonistic hippy as he approaches his death.

The second called DisAstro, presents Capitalism and its crisis in Greece through the echoes it leaves on the landscape.

He is currently making an animation that explores consciousness and perception.
